Description
The Title should had been "What if: 1966 Ford Falcon 2-door wagon", sorry for the inconvience.
After some sketches of a 1961 Imperial Ghia limousine and a 1965 and 1970 DeSoto [link] [link] [link] and a 1959 Chevy Nomad who used the concept of the 1955-57 Nomad [link] I decided to do another "what if cars" sketch based on the "What if cars" site [link]
The Ford Falcon was restyled for 1966 and using the platform and bodies derived from the Ford Fairlane and Mercury Comet also redesigned. Ford once offered a 2-door wagon and a sedan delivery from 1960 to 1965 but dropped it for the 1966 model year while the Ranchero (who moved from the full-size Fairlane/Galaxie in 1960 to the Falcon) continued to soldier, I imagined what if Ford continued to make a Falcon 2-door station-wagon for the 1966 model year.
